his month, Red Deporte y Cooperación had the pleasure of welcoming our European partners from the SAFE4EU project to Madrid, continuing to share knowledge and learn together how to create safer sporting environments.

SAFE4EU aims to improve safety in sport through training in first aid, injury prevention and response. The project is aimed at coaches, teachers, sports instructors and other professionals in the field of sport.

During this meeting, we took part in a theoretical and practical training session focused on muscle injury prevention and the importance of exercising safely. We learned more about how to protect our muscles during physical activity, recognise signs of overexertion and adapt training intensity to avoid placing unnecessary demands on the body.

The session also gave us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of listening to our bodies, allowing sufficient time for rest and recovery, and recognising warning signs before discomfort develops into an injury.

Beyond the training itself, the meeting was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with our European partners, share good practices and continue strengthening our collaboration. Initiatives like this help us improve our own sporting activities and provide our teams with useful tools to prevent injuries and respond more effectively to potential issues during physical activity.

⚽️ We continue learning together to make sport safer for everyone!
