On 15 October, we organised a football tournament for young people in Barrio del Pilar. More than 30 boys aged 11 to 18 took part in this exciting sporting event, showcasing their football skills, team spirit and ability to connect with other young people. Despite the differences in age, all teams worked brilliantly together, showing that teamwork and cooperation are essential both on and off the pitch.

Throughout the tournament, we enjoyed spectacular goals, long-range shots, headers, intense duels and all the excitement of a professional match. Despite the competitive spirit, fair play and mutual respect remained a priority at all times, meaning the referees barely had to intervene.

The DJ helped create a fantastic atmosphere with great music, while snacks and water during the breaks kept everyone energised and ready to enjoy the day. 🎶⚽

The tournament consisted of a qualifying round followed by two finals, both full of excitement! Both matches had to be decided by penalty shootouts, and in the end, the composure of the White Team secured their victory. Congratulations to the winners and to all participants for an outstanding tournament!

It was a true celebration of sport, enjoyed by both the players and the Red Deporte y Cooperación team. We would like to sincerely thank all the young people who took part and made this day such a special experience.

We would also like to thank the FIFA Foundation for its support, which makes it possible to organise tournaments like this and provide young people in our neighbourhood with spaces where they can enjoy sport, build connections and grow together. 💚

We are already looking forward to the next tournament! 🏆
