Successful Training of Coaches in Football3

Red Deporte has successfully carried out the training of coaches to work with the Football3 methodology in the town of Torrelodones. Football3 is a youth development tool that uses football to promote dialogue, critical thinking, and leadership.

The course, both theoretical and practical, served to train participants in the role of mediator within Football3. It lasted three days and was held in June. A total of 12 young people from various municipalities in Madrid attended, along with two participants from Cañada Real who traveled to the course location.

This training is part of Red Deporte’s Football3 development program in Spain. This initiative is supported by the European Union and led globally by the organization streetfootballworld.

Throughout 2018, we will publish a manual for training coaches in the Football3 methodology to help expand the number of trained individuals in this approach.
