R.C.D. Espanyol Supports Our Work in Cameroon

The city of Barcelona has embraced Red Deporte’s cause through its two major football clubs. R.C.D. Espanyol has made a generous donation of sports equipment to support our activities. The club’s striking first and second kits, along with training gear, now brighten up the landscape of Africa—surrounded by enthusiastic youth and the sport they all love: football.

The name “Espanyol” always sparks curiosity, as many question the color of the gear with some surprise—“Shouldn’t it be red?” Our partner club is often associated with the Spanish national team due to its name, prompting a brief explanation of its true identity. In doing so, we help raise awareness of this historic Barcelona-based club, which boasts one of the most beautiful and modern stadiums in Spain. We express our sincere gratitude to this Catalan club for such a kind and generous gesture towards our organization.
