Promoting Social and Educational Cohesion in the Heart of Madrid

Red Deporte has created a space for inclusion and cohesion in Barrio del Pilar, Madrid, one of the most intercultural and densely populated neighborhoods in Europe. Our headquarters, located next to sports facilities, has been key to developing educational and integration programs that foster respect, empathy, and coexistence.

The main goal of our program in the neighborhood is to enhance social participation among young people and their families, strengthen their sense of belonging, and promote integration among diverse communities. Additionally, we aim to create a space of opportunity for all, where sports serve as the central axis for education, health, and social harmony.

Key Activities of the Program:

• Educational sports club and summer camps, supporting children and young people from low-income families.

• Academic reinforcement and learning initiatives on topics such as the environment, inclusion in sports, and gender equality.

• Youth employability program, offering training workshops and the development of interpersonal skills.

The sports club and summer camps have been a great success, providing a safe space where children can learn and have fun while their parents work, benefiting around 120 participants.

Our dedicated coaches and educators have played a key role in this process, promoting a healthy lifestyle and teamwork.
