On June 28, 2025, the Red Deporte y Cooperación Foundation took part in the second transnational meeting of the European project SF2024 – Street Football, held in Prague (Czech Republic) and coordinated by the World Minifootball Federation.

This initiative, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission, aims to promote sport as an educational tool, a means of social inclusion, and a way to improve health among children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds.

During the meeting, partner organizations — FA Bragança (Portugal), AEK Athens (Greece), World Minifootball Federation (Czech Republic), and Red Deporte y Cooperación (Spain) — evaluated the project’s progress, analyzed the results of the research conducted in each country, and planned the next phase: the development of a manual for implementing street football in schools across the participating countries.

The SF2024 project follows a comprehensive approach that connects sports practice with values education, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the active participation of youth. At Red Deporte, we reaffirm our commitment to initiatives that strengthen the role of sport as a catalyst for social change and human development.

We continue working toward a future where sport is accessible, inclusive, and transformative for everyone.
