European Solidarity Corps (ESC)

Red Deporte is part of the different NGDOs that participate in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Through the ESC, Red Deporte will be able to send and receive volunteers to work on projects that address a wide range of social challenges, such as poverty, social exclusion, environmental protection and education. This is a great opportunity for our organization to expand our impact and contribute to a more just and sustainable future for all.

What is ESC about?

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a European Union program that offers young people between 18 and 30 years old the opportunity to participate in volunteering and solidarity projects throughout Europe and in other countries around the world.

The objectives of the CES are:

  • Promote solidarity and mutual understanding among the young people of Europe.
  • Help vulnerable communities and address social challenges.
  • Develop the skills and experience of young people.

CES participants can participate in a wide range of projects, such as:

  • Work with older people or people with disabilities.
  • Help protect the environment.
  • Participate in community development projects.
  • Promote education and training.

The CES offers participants a series of benefits, such as:

  • A monthly scholarship to cover your accommodation and living expenses.
  • Medical and travel insurance.
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and develop your experience.
  • The possibility of meeting new people from all over Europe and the world.

How to participate in ESC?

To participate in the ESC, you must register on the European Youth Portal. Once registered, you can search for projects that interest you and apply to them. ESC is a great opportunity for young people who want to make a difference in the world and learn new things.
