Human Trafficking with a Special Focus on the Case of Nepali Women
During the month of November, we had the opportunity to carry out several awareness-raising activities focused on human trafficking, with particular attention to the situation of young women in Nepal. All of these activities were deeply enriching experiences that allowed us to bring this reality closer to different audiences and create spaces for collective reflection.
One of the most notable sessions took place at the Higher School of Design of Valladolid, where we presented the awareness-raising project on human trafficking in Nepal. We were honored to have the valuable presence of Rajendra Gautam, founder of the NGO 3 Angels, and Roberto Lozano, director of All the Souls, whose contributions offered a close, human, and necessary perspective on this global issue.
In addition, throughout the month of November we held several sessions in sports centers in the cities of León and Salamanca, where we worked with students on real cases and everyday situations that require decision-making and critical reflection on their consequences. These encounters led to highly enriching discussions that highlighted the importance of raising awareness from an early age about issues deeply rooted in our society.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the individuals and institutions that made these activities possible: to Rajendra Gautam, Roberto Lozano, and the NGO 3 Angels for their involvement; to the Higher School of Design of Valladolid and the Regional Government of Castilla y León for opening their doors to us; and to the sports centers of León and Salamanca for their warm reception and for allowing us to share such a meaningful project.
We remain committed to awareness-raising and education as key tools to combat human trafficking and promote a more just and conscious society.
