Environmental cleanup and community day in Cañada Real

Last June, Clifford Chance participated alongside Red Deporte in an environmental intervention and community day with the youth of Cañada Real, specifically in sector six. As part of the program, a cleanup and maintenance activity was carried out on the community field built by Red Deporte in 2017. Several containers were filled with waste scattered across a wide area surrounding the football pitch.

 

In addition, children and young people who took part in the action were made aware of the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, free from trash and debris that pose health risks (such as syringes or broken glass, among others).

 

To end the day, all participants enjoyed a meal with the young people involved in the program, followed by a visit to the area around sector six of Cañada.
