WELCOMIN’ CLUBS?

Welcome’In Clubs is a project carried out together with the French NGO Big Bang Ballers France. The project aims to promote inclusion through sport, especially targeting groups between 16 and 30 years of age. Through sporting events and an exchange of visits between the two organizations, we seek to contribute together to a more cohesive society, both in Grenoble and in Madrid.

By developing and exchanging our inclusive methodologies, we seek to improve the processes of welcoming and integrating immigrants through sport, so that 1+1 = 3.

The development of these methodologies is aimed at helping the young participants gain confidence and well-being, reducing mistrust and xenophobia, which is always present to a greater or lesser extent in the communities where they usually live.

Other key components of this project include:

• European exchange through visits.
• The intercultural connection between participants.
• The training of educators, monitors and trainers.
• The creation of a final manual to share and disseminate the methodology developed in Welcome’In Clubs.
